Board of Directors
Krishna Ghanta
Krishna Ghanta is CEO of Vertiv, a niche provider of technology products and solutions for financial services industry. He leads overall growth and strategic direction.
In addition to chairing the board of directors, Krishna is responsible for managing and driving the annual business performance of the company, formulating and executing long-term strategies, and interacting with clients, employees, investors and other stakeholders. He is Vertiv’s primary decision- and policy-maker, setting the tone for the company’s values, ethics and culture.
Krishna has spent twenty years of his career leading companies that specialize in developing enterprise class technology and solutions for the financial services industry. He founded Vertiv in 2011 to address the challenges and fill the gaps in financial services industry in primarily in risk, regulatory, and compliance areas. In that role he transformed a U.S. based solutions company to a leading global risk management, compliance and finance technology product company.
Prior to founding Vertiv, Krishna served as President and CEO of solutions firm focused in BFSI industry. Earlier in his career he was in leadership role and has steered several firms, streamlining their operations by major undertaking major finance transformation initiatives and implementing enterprise class solutions. A technocrat at heart, Krishna has functioned as business solution architect, subject matter expert, and senior consultant with several major banks and helped them address mission critical initiatives with best breed software products.
Krishna is a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science with specialization of Operational Research, Digital Signal Processing, Mathematical Models, Systems Simulation, Artificial Intelligence and Natural Language Processing from IIT Kanpur. He has also served as a faculty of engineering students in theory of automation, artificial intelligence and mathematical modeling..
Yoram Drucker
2011-2014 - Co-founder and CEO – Cell Source Limited
Established Biotechnology Company developing: cell therapy to treat transplant rejection; treatment for lymphocytic cancer (e.g., lymphoma, multiple myeloma) and a breakthrough technology for growing major organs for human transplantation. Collaboration with Yeda (the commercial arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel)
2008-2011: Co-founder and CEO – Rainbow Energy Limited
Established renewable energy technology company to develop and distribute solar hybrid solutions (combining electricity generation with water heating). Developed relationships with both technology providers and distributors in Israel, Spain and the United States.
2007-2008: “Angel” investor and Manager, Business Development - Millennium Electric
Company produces and markets photovoltaic systems. Developed deep relationships in the green energy sector internationally, consolidated business strategy, marketing materials and market focus. Established a subsidiary together with the national association of Israeli “moshavim” (cooperative communities) - "Millennium Moshavim" - for the purpose of marketing and construction of PVT (Photo Voltaic Thermal) stations in accordance with new Israeli renewables regulation. The association represents 230 moshavim - most of the moshavim in the country.
2004-2007: Founder, COO, then CEO of BrainStorm Cell Therapeutics Inc. (BCLI).
Company develops technology to treat degenerative nerve disease (e.g., Parkinson's , ALS). Patient’s own stem cells are converted into specialized nerve cells then implanted in the patient’s brain or muscles (varies based on application). Negotiated exclusive worldwide rights with Ramot (the commercial arm of Tel Aviv University). Set up full organization: science and research team; laboratory facilities; management. Led collaboration
with the SEC, U.S. regulatory agencies and the Chief Scientist of Israel as well as investor relations.
Commercialization of Israeli technology in the areas of battery technology and homeland security, respectively. Both companies traded on the OTCBB. Negotiated technology rights, secured contracts, built business plans, management teams, and led business development and investor relations (as an external consultant and as an employee)
2004: Co-founder of Pluristem (PSTI) – NASDAQ
Propriety technology based on research at the Technion in Haifa, Israel. Placenta derived cells used to improve bone marrow transplantation, and for vascular disease related applications. Assisted negotiations with the Technion, raised first and second round funding, built business plan, set up laboratories and equipment, staffed management cadre, Director until mid-2005.
1996-2003: Independent business consultant
Initially general business and marketing consulting and campaign execution in varied industries ranging from real estate development to insurance. Subsequent focus on fundraising for high-tech startups - worked as a consultant /freelancer at Menorah Gaon Capital Markets (Israeli investment banking firm)
1990-1995: Polishing Department Head A. Schwartz & Son
One of Israel's leading diamond manufacturers – annual exports >$100 million.
Managed staff of 40; managed inventory and manufacturing. Implemented innovative automatic polishing system

Kevin Smith
Kevin Smith is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vertiv, Inc. In this role Kevin leads sales development for Vertiv's product suites and services. Prior to his position with Vertiv, Inc., Kevin has held several roles with both large Global firms such as Ciber and CGI, as well as several boutique specialty local IT companies. Prior to working in the IT field, Kevin worked in the insurance industry as both Sales Executive and Sales Management.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, Kevin still resides Columbus with his wife Denise, four children and 5 grandchildren. Kevin attended Ohio State University with a focus in Horticulture.
Parag Ikhar
Parag Ikhar, Vice President of Product Development and Strategy is currently leading business operations division at Vertiv Inc USA. Parag functions as subject matter expert in the area of Counterparty Risk, Liquidity Risk, Basel III, Credit Risk and Operational Risk. He has worked extensively on identifying and reporting risks (Capital Adequacy under Basel II/III guidelines, Effect of Internal Incidents on Capital Requirements, Impact of AMA application on the various businesses, etc.,) to Securities Division Senior Management and OCC. Parag has consulted with several major US banks helping them address their regulator reporting challenges.
Prior to joining Vertiv, Parag was helping Oracle Corporation architect their Real Estate Management Suite. Parag graduated from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai and earned several certifications from esteemed New York Institute of finance. His area of interest is designing solutions to address better credit risk management.
Parag currently reside in Tampa FL with his wife, Minal and enjoys playing tennis.
